CM awarded 12 officers with President�s Police Medals

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today awarded 12 officers with President�s Police Medals at a special function held here in the city on Sunday.

IG (CID, CB) Abhaya and former Vigilance SP Debaduta Patnaik have received the President�s medal for Distinguished Service.

Police Medal for Meritorious Service has been awarded to DIG Sanjeeb Panda, DIG Y.K. Jethwa, Additional SP (in-charge of S.P Vigilance) Amulya Mohanty, Deputy Commandant SOG Md. Zaheed, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Madhab Chandra Sahoo, DSP, Special Branch Rabindra Mohapatra, Additional SP, CID, CB Duryodhan Rout, ASI Artatrana Nanda.

Similarly, senior Superintendent Kumuda Bandhu Nayk and Sub-Assistant Jailor Bijaya Kumar Jena received Correctional Service Medal for Meritorious Service.
