Adani group to construct Port in Orissa with an investment of Rs 10 thousand crore

Adani group will construct a Port in Orissa by an investment of Rs 10 thousand crore . The managing Director of the Adani group Rajesh Adani meet with the chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the Orissa secretariat on Thursday and submitted their proposal for construction of a Port in Jagatsinghpur district near proposed Posco project.

CEO of Adani group Rajib Sinha has expressed in their proposal that in two phase they will construct the project. In every phase they will invest Rs 5 Thousand crore. They will construct the Post of 100 Million Ton transportation capacity. They will import and export Coal, Iron, liquid , container etc. They will also construct 12 berths.

They have requested the Chief Minister to construct the road to the proposed site. They will construct the port at three KMs south of the Posco project. They will construct the post with ultramodern facilities. They will construct Power plant, Edible Oil Refinery and also Mining and they will invest total Rs 1lakh 20thiusand crore.

It is to be mentioned here that, this Adani group left from Construction of the Gopalpur Port and was trying to construct a port in Kendrapara district. After failure of their effort, again this Adani group is interested for construction of a Port near Paradip Port.
