CM approves proposal to raise MLA LAD fund from Rs 75 Lakh to Rs One Crore

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the proposal to raise the yearly MLA LAD to the tune of Rs One Crore from Rs 75 Lakh.

The legislatures of all the parties were demanding for a long to raise the MLA LAD to the tune of RS One Crore. In response to the Demand of the legislatures, the Planning and Co-Ordination Minister Ananga Udaya Singh Deo sent a proposal to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to raise the yearly MLA LAD to the tune of RS One Crore.

It is to be mention here that the government is incurring expenditures of Rs 110 Crore in a year under MLA LAD , now the government will have to incur more 36 Crore 75 lakh Ruppes in a year. The Planning and Co-Ordination Department and Finance Department will place additional Budget of Rs 147 crore in the next Budget session.
