CM awarded 12 officers with President’s Police Medals

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today awarded 12 officers with President’s Police Medals at a special function held here in the city on Sunday.

IG (CID, CB) Abhaya and former Vigilance SP Debaduta Patnaik have received the President’s medal for Distinguished Service.

Police Medal for Meritorious Service has been awarded to DIG Sanjeeb Panda, DIG Y.K. Jethwa, Additional SP (in-charge of S.P Vigilance) Amulya Mohanty, Deputy Commandant SOG Md. Zaheed, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Madhab Chandra Sahoo, DSP, Special Branch Rabindra Mohapatra, Additional SP, CID, CB Duryodhan Rout, ASI Artatrana Nanda.

Similarly, senior Superintendent Kumuda Bandhu Nayk and Sub-Assistant Jailor Bijaya Kumar Jena received Correctional Service Medal for Meritorious Service.
