CM informs assembly over discussion on safe release of abducted Malkangiri Collector.

Naveen Patnaik on Monday informed the house that for safe release of abducted Malkangiri Collector R.Vinil Krishna and Kudumuluguma Block Junior Engineer Pabitra Mohan Majhi the state government is discussing with the mediators as proposed by the Maoists. On Sunday Home Secretary Upendra Nath Behera and Panchayati Raj Secretary S.N.Tripathy discussed with three mediators Prof. R.Someswar Rao, Prof. G.hargopal and Dandapani Mohanty in the State Guest House.

In course of the discussion they have assured that the Maoists will not harm to the Collector and JE and will not create any unwanted incidents. The state government also assured them to stop the combing operation. Again the discussions with the mediators also continuing today.
