CM raises concern over resignation of officials in Maoists affected districts

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed concern over incident of resignation of the Special Police Officers (SPOs) form threat of the Maoist. He said the matter will be enquired.

It is to be mentioned here that after threatened of the Maoists to the elected public representatives, three elected public representatives of Chandrapur Block have resigned . After threatened by the Maoists to the SPOs for resignation within 15 days , 6 SPOs of Rayagada districts have resigned. The Maoists are trying to demoralize the Police. After taking the facts to the notice of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister has expressed that it is very serious matter and will be enquired .
