CM reviews progress of PMGSY in the state.

Naveen Patnaik on Monday reviewed progress of PMGSY in the state. As per the information of the meeting , there is a target for construction of more than 6000 Kilo Meters of Road during the year 2011-12 with an investment of Rs 3000 crore.

The PMGSY scheme started during the year 2001-02. About 5222 roads of 19,913.54 KMs are being constructing till date with an investment of Rs 7296.23 crore. During the year 2010-11 about 1486 roads of 4914.90 KMs are constructing with an investment of Rs 1924.25 crore.

Among others Chief Secretary Bijaya Kumar Patnaik, Development Commissioner Rabi Narayan Senapaty, Principal Secretary of Rural Development Rangalal Jamuda were present.
