CM reviews progress of Utilisation of CAMPA funds.

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reviewed in a high level meeting on the progress of Utilisation of the CAMPA funds.

This CAMPA funds was created by the direction of the Supreme Court. Till now the state government has deposited Rs 1500 crore in this CAMPA fund. During the year 2009-10 the Centre government has sanctioned Rs131.06 crore .

There is a target for plantation of Bamboo in 50thousand Hectare of land and plantation of cashew in another 50thousand hector of land. Out of 289 forest range ,150 forest range will be modernized .Striking Force will be deployed in 10 places. It has been decided to provide modernized weapons to the forest staffs of Maoless districts.

Special drive will be taken for the development of the socio economic status of the peoples of the mining areas.
