CM reviews utilization of MLAs, MPs LAD funds

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reviewed on Tuesday in the Orissa Secretariat regarding utilization of Local Area Development funds of the MLAs, MPs and Special Problem Funds. As per the information given to the Chief Minister, the utilization of the MLAs and MPs Local Area Development funds is satisfactory, while the utilization of Special Problem Fund is to be speed up.

As per the information, Out of total 85 thousand projects under MPs LAD fund 80 thousand projects has been completed. This utilization is 93%. Out of one lakh seventy sixty thousand projects under MLA LAD fund one thousand fifty thousand projects has been completed. This utilization is 84%. In the Special Problem Fund the utilization is only 66%. Out of 5,255 Projects 3,455 projects has been completed. The Chief Minister has instructed the departmental authorities to speed up for utilization of the funds.

Among others Additional Development Commissioner R.N.Senapaty, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Aditya Prasad Padhi, Principal Secretary of Planning and CoOrdination CTM Suguna , Panchayati Raj Secretary S.N.Tripathy were present.
