Central government to provide five battalions of Para Military Forces to Orissa

Central government has announced to supply five battalions of Para Military Forces to Orissa, which is not sufficient to counter the Maoists. There is necessity of atleast eight battalions of Para Military Forces . The Orissa government on Saturday said that the government would demand from the Centre Government three more battalions of Central Para-Military forces to counter the Maoist activities in the state.The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday reviewed the maoist activities in Sundargarh and Koraput districtsin the state secretariat in a high level meeting . After the review meeting the Home Secretary Aditya Padhy told the media persons that the government has decided to demand three more battalions of central para-military force (CPMF) inWith Maoists having killed two persons in last two days, Patnaik has asked the police to contain violence, especially in Sundergarh district . Inspite of all the security to the peoples will be provided. More Police Officers and staffs will be sent to these areas. Including Kalta , the cumbing operation will be intensified in Bonei Sub Division. Among others Home Secretary Aurobinda Padhi, Police Director General Man Mohan Praharaj, I.G Operation Sanjib Marik were present.
