NMC Vice Chairperson meets Orissa Chief Minister

The Vice Chairperson of National Commission for Minorities Dr. H. T. Sangliana meet with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the Orissa Secretariat on Wednesday after returning from Kandhamal. Dr Sangliana praised the steps of the state government for continuing community brotherhood / harmony in the state.

The Vice Chairperson expressed that communal violations in Orissa is much more less than other states. The Chief Minister expressed the policy of resettlement and exgratia to the Kandhamal riot affected peoples . The Vice Chairperson Dr Sangliana advised the Chief Minister to stress on the education and professional training of the minority communities.

Among others Chief Secretary Bijaya Patnaik, Director General of Police Manmohan Praharaj , Secretaries of different departments were present.
