Naveen Patnaik felicitates two young Chess players

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday felicitated two young Chess players Adyasha Mohapatra and Rudrakhya Parida in the Orissa Secretariat.Adyasha bags Champion in girls group and Rudrakhya bags Champion in boys group in the National Chess Championship - 2009 held at Ahmadabad. Similarly In Common wealth Chess competition -2010 held at New Delhi Adyasha bags second (Silver Medal) while Rudrakhya bags 4th position.

Both Adyasha and Rudrakhya will go to Beijing this week to participate in the Asian Youth Chess Championship . Both also have been selected to participate in the World Youth Chess Championship, which will be held in Greece.

At the time of felicitation, Father Annada Mohapatra and Mother Rashmi Mohapatra of Adyasha and Father of Rudrakhya Subrat Parida were present.
