Orissa CM approves Rs 5500 crore for development of Fishery and Animal resources department
The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved a proposed project of Rs 5500 crore for the development of Fishery and Animal resources department.A meeting held in the Orissa Secretariat on Tuesday under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and approved the project. In this proposed project Rs 3204.10 crore for the proposed scheme of the Fishery department, while Rs 2254.56 crore for the development projects of Animal resources development. After the meeting, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation Dr. Damodar Raut told the media persons that with the financial assistance of Central Government, State Government, National Fishery Development Corporation, Financial Corporation, ESID , and NREGS, RIEDF and RKVY funds will be invested for the purpose.Within the year 2010 to 2019 this amount will be utilized. The state government will give Rs 339.41 crores as the share money of the state government.
