Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik assures South Korean President to expedite POSCO project work

Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday assured the South Korean President, Lee Myung-Bak of expediting the work relating to proposed Posco project in Jagatsighpur district.It should be noted that earlier in the morning CM Naveen Patnaik took a special flight to Delhi to meet Lee. Lee was the chief guest at this year’s Republic Day celebrations in the country. chief minister Naveen Patnaik meet Lee at the at-Home hosted by President Pratibha Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in honour of the visiting dignitary .The chief minister also assured Lee that the state government would speed up land acquisition for the project, which has not seen light of the day due to vehement protest by anti-land acquisition activists in the region.
