Orissa Chief Minister instructs officials to implement Biju Kandhamal, Biju Gajapati Yojna

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has instructed the Collectors of the concerned districts to see the proper implementation of the Biju Kandhamal and Biju Gajapati Yojnas.

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday has reviewed the progress of the implementation of the Biju Kandhamal and Biju Gajapati Younas in the Orissa secretariat. About one and half crore has been sanctioned for each district for implementation of the Biju Kandhamal and Biju Gajapati Youna.

About Rs 18 crore has been sanctioned for Kandhamal district and Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned for Gajapati district. This amount will be incurred expenditure towards Electricity, Communication (Roads), Drinking Water etc. It has been ascertained that about 35 % funds has been utilised. The Chief Minister has instructed to utilise the entire funds by the month of March.
