Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meets Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik

The spiritual guru, founder of Art of Living Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meet with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday morning in Naveen Niwas and discussed regarding progress of the Sri Sri University . Guruji also wanted permission of the government to discuss with the Maoists. Guruji expressed that he is ready to talk with the Maoists in any place of the world. The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed " It is not possible to have discussion with them (Maoists) till they give up the path of violence".The spiritual guru, founder of Art of Living Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar earlier on Monday In the matter of Maoist activities expressed that the aim Maoists for eradicating misappropriation acceptable, but they should leave the path of violence . Guruji invited the Maoist leaders to a discussion with him to resolve the issue peacefully. "I request the Maoists to talk to us and leave the path of violence. Though the sole intention of the rebels is to work for the society, the path of violence which they have taken is not proper way. They should not kill police personnel who are only carrying out orders," said Guruji, who had successfully spoken to Maoists in Lalgarh and motivated them for negotiation with the government.
